1987

Founded on December 16, Blau maintains in its essence the DNA of entrepreneurship and innovation.

1992

Opening of Blau Headquarters in Cotia and beginning of the expansion plan to manufacture its own high-complexity drugs

1995

Opening of the first industrial unit, located in Caucaia, dedicated to oncology products (solid and injectable)

2005

Granting of the operating license issued by the Anvisa (Brazilian Health Authority) for the industrial plant Unit II P200 / 300, dedicated to the production of injectable, biological, biotechnological and anesthetic drugs.

2011

Blau starts its regional expansion plan with the acquisition of a distributor in Colombia. In the same year, the Company’s corporate name was changed to Blau Farmacêutica SA, and started to publish audited financial statements.

2012

Beginning of antibiotic production activities of penicillanic, cephalosporanic and non-β-lactam antibiotic produts at the acquired unit in São Paulo.

2013

Opening of the operations in Uruguay, to support regional distribution of products to Latin America.

2016

Constitution of operations in Peru, Chile and Argentina.

2020

Acquisition of Pharma Limirio, supporting the strategy of expanding production capacity.

Launch of the new Research, Development and Innovation center – Blau Inventta.

2021

Launch of P400 – biotechnology platform for the production of APIs

IPO – Blau’s journey, combining operational efficiency, production expansion and innovation, is crowned with its initial public offering (IPO) at B3, in the Novo Mercado segment.
